Price Breakdown

All tickets include provided lunch during workshops, and dinner during game. Meals will include vegan options by default, and additional food needs will be incorporated. Those who need to bring their own food or eat in privacy will be accommodated – we’ll work something out!

Larp-only tickets do not include lodging or other meals. There are nearby hotels marked on the map. There will be 14 larp-only tickets.

All inclusive tickets include lodging on location in the site where the larp will be held. These tickets include breakfasts, snacks, and access to the site’s kitchen and other amenities.

Deluxe Inclusive Tickets are per-person, and represent a private room with a queen bed. There will be six deluxe inclusive tickets, representing three private rooms. If you request a Deluxe Inclusive Ticket in your application, please indicate who you would like to room with. Please note that listing a partner is not a guarantee that both of you will be cast if one of you is vetted out.

Den Inclusive Tickets are per-person for a bedroom with queen bed and couch, which can sleep three people. There are thus three tickets at this level. If you request a Den Inclusive Ticket in your application, please indicate who you would like to room with. Please note that listing a partner is not a guarantee that both of you will be cast if one of you is vetted out.

The Shared Queen Inclusive Tickets are per-person, for a queen bed in a shared attic bedroom. There are two shared queen inclusive tickets. If you request a Shared Queen Inclusive Ticket in your application, please indicate who you would like to share the bed with. Please note that listing rooming partners is not a guarantee that both of you will be cast if one of you is vetted out. These tickets do not include the ability to veto other people in the shared room.

The Shared Twin Inclusive Tickets are per-person, for twin beds in a shared attic bedroom. There are two tickets available. These tickets do not include the ability to veto other people in the shared room.

Scholarship Tickets

The Inclusive Partial Scholarship Ticket is an inclusive ticket offered at a reduced price. It includes the benefits of an inclusive ticket for one twin bed in the shared attic bedroom. There is one inclusive scholarship ticket. This ticket does not include the ability to veto other people in the shared room.

The Partial Scholarship Ticket is one larp-only ticket offered at a reduced price.

The Full Scholarship Ticket represents a larp-only ticket, such that the ticket holder will need to arrange their own accommodations.

The Inclusive Full Scholarship Tickets represents a cost-free ticket. It includes the benefits of an inclusive ticket for one twin bed in the shared attic bedroom. There is one inclusive scholarship ticket. This ticket does not include the ability to veto other people in the shared room.

Attendees will be given the option of sponsoring more scholarship tickets, in which case more will be offered.

Mechanics

The larp is not full yes-and: Dueling is card-based, as are some aspects of necromancy. One of the core tension-builders of the game is resource management with character health, and there is a token system for that.

Also, to be clear, character death is absolutely something that can and will happen in this larp, as is betrayal – the second day of the larp especially will be type two. Ultimately, a character does not HAVE to die – that is opt-in only for almost everybody, and for the few characters that are guaranteed to die, they will be cast to players who have already indicated that they’re interested in that story.

If a character does die, there are ghost mechanics and ghost-specific plot so while death is definitely a change in priority for them, but not the end of the story. 

Accessiblity

The game site is not wheelchair accessible, as it has a few steps up into the building. The game will be focused on the first floor of the building, but some activities may involve the private back yard, which is accessed by a few stairs as well.

Inclusive tickets will involve staying on upper floors of the building, and navigating full flights of stairs.

Content Warnings

As mentioned, this will be a Type 2 event. Type 2 larps tend to put people in situations of heightened emotions, and there is a chance for characters to end unhappily. This does not mean that you as players will have a bad time, and I in fact intend for you to have a good time, but I want to make sure you’re ready for Some Fucking Drama. There are some mechanics in this game to help illustrate character’s skills, but any actual consequences will be entirely consent-based.

Specific content warnings include:

• Discrimination based on fictional religion and class
• Gay shit and just so much yearning
• Absolutely god-awful memes

Things this larp will NOT contain:

• Sexual Violence
• Actual sex (this ain’t that kind of larp) (we’ll go over it in the workshops, “private time” is a whole thing)
• Discrimination based on real world race, religion, or other vulnerable status

Please prioritize your comfort and safety when considering whether or not you will enjoy the reality this event, even if you really like the idea of this event.
