OKAY we’re doing this one earlier this month. Daemon is in the books and it’s time to return my thoughts to the business of BONES. And we’re at a point where I have some big steps to make.
Uh Oh
First, Lies & Liability’s 2024 run is on the same weekend I was going to do, which is 1) augh, and 2) argh. (I really want to finally WEAR my regency garb at a larp.) (I also really don’t want to challenge the venn diagram of potential players who would want to go to that larp as well as this one.)

Actual Fun News And Announcements
REGARDLESS, here are some exciting updates for the near future:
1) COMPANY NAME IS GO: Humble Bees Interactive Creations. Not yet an LLC but I’m working on it. I also need to sit down for long enough to get the logo out of my head. BRACE YOURSELVES IT’S GONNA BE A BEE.
2) WEBSITE IS ALMOST GO: (Still have a few more pages to finish. It’s no work of art, but it’s something and I am in full “the perfect is the enemy of the good (enough)” mode.)

4) REGISTRATION IS SOON:
- Applications will open 5/1/2023 and will close 6/30/2023. (There’ll be a whole FB Group and etc for that between now and then.)
- Vetting will begin 7/08/2023 and will end 7/21/2023.
- Final casting will be announced 8/1/2023, along with payment details.
5) MORE TICKET THOUGHTS Having learned some valuable lessons from Daemon, I will be offering guaranteed reserve tickets! These ticket holders will be on hand to take over characters for any drops we have, and if no drops happen, they will have their own characters to play. Those characters will be less actively folded into the ties of the game, as they will be built to be easily chopped, but if you are adaptable and want a lower ticket price point, these may be for you. There will also be scholarship tickets that range from half off to full sponsorship.

And now for awkward immediate-cost money talk. I’ve got some initial start-up hurdles to clear, the most important of which is site reservation once we identify our new weekend. If you would like to contribute to that, with the understanding that 1) this does not guarantee you a place in the larp, but 2) would either be fully refunded or deducted from your ticket if you are cast.
